Performance Overview
The performance space within the Embarcadero Building will be transformed into a series of spaces bathed in ambient light, creating an immersive environment that invites the audience to move through individual narratives and shared meditations. Alongside this immersive setting where audience movement and participation are welcome and encouraged, performers will share intimate accounts of the narratives Artstillery collected through interviews, mass media and historical accounts, drawing on real experiences of displacement, resilience, and faith. Past audiences have been moved to embrace and connect within these spaces, reminding all who attend of the power of human stories to bridge divides and foster compassion. By weaving together distinct cultural expressions, Artstillery reaffirms its commitment to creating performances that foster dialogue, healing, and understanding.
