Dreams are a fascinating and complex phenomenon. They can be a series of thoughts, images, sensations, and emotions that happen involuntarily in the mind. Dreams can be a powerful source of inspiration and creativity, offering a unique lens through which to view and interpret the world.

The Lone Star Wind Orchestra and Music Director Eugene Migliaro Corporon traverse through the dreamscapes of composers Frank Ticheli, John Mackey, Saül Gómez Solar, and Eric Whitacre. Some dreams are of a specific place or time. Other dreams evoke dark and nightmarish states, perhaps with ghosts! The program includes Frank Ticheli’s Fantastic Dreams, Eric Whitacre’s Ghost Train Triptych, John Mackey’s Haunted Dreams, and Leonardo Dreams by Spanish composer Saül Gómez Soler.

The LSWO brings these “fantastic” dreamscapes to Moody Performance Hall in Dallas on the evening of Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 7:30pm. Join us for FANTASTIC DREAMS!
