Moody Performance Hall

With its iconic architecture and transformative spaces that welcome and encourage diverse performances by emerging groups, Moody Performance Hall is a beacon for patrons of the performing arts throughout North Texas. Located across the street from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, the venue includes unique spaces that can be arranged to accommodate receptions, concerts and pre-show events.

The Center offers underground, on-site, valet and self-parking options during performance times. Daily parking is also available during non-event times. Lexus Red Parking is beneath the Winspear Opera House, and Lexus Silver Parking is beneath Moody Performance Hall.

Both are accessible from Jack Evans Street on the east end of the Dallas Arts District.

About Moody Performance Hall

With a design that incorporates feedback from 70 Dallas arts organizations, the Moody Performance Hall plays host to a wide swath of events delivered by emerging and mid-sized cultural organizations in the Dallas Arts District. It is owned and operated by the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture.

Previously known as Dallas City Performance Hall, Moody Performance Hall is a state-of-the-art, 750-seat, multi-purpose theater specifically designed to accommodate a wide range of performance needs, along with an expansive front lobby that can hold small performances and events for up to 200 people.

Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP, the lyrical and elegant venue is considered the gateway to the Arts District.
